Our Honda Odyssey Helping Man Run Marathons Across the Country

You might have seen the story about Dr. Larry Grogin, who, to celebrate his 71st birthday, ran across the country and is running 100 marathons in 100 days to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson's Disease. Dr. Grogin, who has Parkinson's, started his run right here in New Jersey, and along his journey, he used a Honda Odyssey as a team car, donated from our dealership to complete his journey!

We donated a special 2026 Honda Odyssey EXL, which is fitted with decals and logos where you can donate to the causes Dr. Grogin is supporting, as he heads to Calabasas, California, running a full marathon length of 26.2 miles per day, for 100 days.

After being diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2019, Dr. Grogin, who was an avid marathon runner and Ironman competition participant, decided that the diagnosis wouldn't hold him back. He told Eyewitness 7 News that "The dialogue has changed to not muscling through things but learning to live with it and learning how to live your best life with it." That includes getting out and exercising and staying physically active even at his age, and his diagnosis, and now, he's doing it for a good cause.

We're honored to supply the team van for Grogin and his quest to complete 100 marathons in 100 days and go from coast to coast in our Honda Odyssey, and are cheering him on every step of the way, as being a small part of it, and helping to fund research and raise awareness for Parkinson's is something that we can be proud of, as we look to find ways to help people live their best lives with the diagnosis.
